LandLink
Product Overview
LandLink assists land professionals in converting their proprietary electronic land records into a format that can be processed through CartéView in order to create high-value land maps. Designed as a simple-to-use add-on to Microsoft Access or Excel, LandLink uses a defined set of rules to process data and "clean" improperly formatted legal descriptions to meet required automated mapping specifications. This means that databases containing improperly formatted legal land descriptions can be automatically processed and mapped, via XeDAR's CartéView land mapping software, while reducing the need to re-key and manually edit data. LandLink is designed for land professionals who maintain land records within land management systems and other databases, as well as those who spend time mapping land use and/or point features by hand or via electronic means. It is also useful for those who desire a faster and more accurate means to map current land and point feature data.
Benefits:
- Converts existing land records, databases and spreadsheets into a format for mapping aliquot land and point feature legal descriptions via XeDAR's CartéView land mapping software.
- Eliminates the need to create custom programs and specialized land databases for mapping legacy records.
- Substantially reduces the need to "clean-up" data prior to automated mapping.
- Replaces a tedious, labor-intensive task with a cost-effective, high-speed, more accurate automated tool.
